Since its onset, the NTTF succeeded in piloting the following national standardized tools and resources:

  • Developing national medical tools for screening and documenting cases of GBV in PHC and socio-medical;
  • Community centers and its related clinical pathway;
  • Drafting a unified Code of Conduct for PHC and medical staff for working with women survivors of GBV;
  • Developing national criteria for listening and counselling rooms for GBV survivors;
  • Developing national training curriculum on GBV case management.

Working Groups

ABAAD is also part of the different Working Groups (WG), including Reproductive Health WG, CMR WG, Child protection WG, and SGBV Task force. As members in these WG, ABAAD got to work with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA). These already established relations in previous project cycles provide a supportive channel for communication with other governmental stakeholders, which will sustain the work on ending GBV.

It is also worth noting that all of ABAAD’s work to fill the gaps in the emergency response for GBV has been in line with the LRCP; the set MOSA plan; and UNICEF RWP. As such ABAAD’s strategic vision and relationships with key stakeholders, in addition to its significant experience in GBV emergency response, exemplify it for quality implementation of this proposed project.
